goba was founded in the summer of 2017 by us, two college students attending Babson College and Johns Hopkins University.

while schooling in the Northeast, we noticed the popularity of bubble tea amongst busy and stressed college students including ourselves.

we would drive 20-30 mins just to grab a cup of bubble tea which has to be drunk fresh. not only that, but we found traditional bubble tea to be extremely high in calorie and sugar.

after months of frustration, we decided to do something about it.
